Been a busy few weeks and we're making a few upgrades to the trading contract again, this time its going to be alot simpler and wont require work for the user. Any trades that are positive will just be credited their PnL + margin and old positions underwater will just trade against a pool as usual. Opening a position with the adjusted size to margin would net you the same risk profile. Our Arbitrum incentives are coming to a close today! You'll have until 22:00 UTC roughly 17 hours from now to be counted. Reminder trades have to have been open for more than 15 mins to count. Current community made dune queries only look at the raw data but we've only noticed 2 users who didnt account for this rule. We'll drop a sheets link that combines the final data of aggregated volume, some fee numbers, and other general studies with the data collected. Day 3 of Arbitrum incentives! The top user currently is on track to make a return of 34,333%! from trading on UniDex 🔥 That's a yield return of 34,333% from just making trading on Arbitrum. How is the yield 34,333% you ask? so far the top volume trader has $38.66 in fees with around $39 in PnL. Because they represent 66% of total volume, they're on track to get 66% of the $20,000 USDC incentive program! Thats $38.66 paid in fees and receiving $13,314 or 34,333%! On the other hand, Poolers of also got $11.59 of fees paid to them indirectly too. Poolers are getting effectively $6000 of fee rewards subsidized by the arbitrum airdrop! As of this moment, a snapshot has been taken and balances have been recorded. You will receive a new UNIDX token on ETH with the following ERC20 address 👇 0xf0655dcee37e5c0b70fffd70d85f88f8edf0aff6 The old UNIDX token on the chains Optimism, ETH, BOBA, zkSync, FTM, and METIS are no longer officially recognized by the protocol We have already seeded an equal amount of UNIDX backing the amount on Arbitrum to the Synapse bridge. Arbitrum is unaffected and as Synapse re-enables the bridge, people can freely move in and out of Arbitrum with the new UNIDX token on ETH. Optimism and other chain deployments are to come this week with Synapse as well to allow for liquidity to come back on Velodrome under a NEW erc20 on optimism. Once again the OLD erc20 token on every chain expect arbitrum is no longer recognized by the protocol and you have received a new UNIDX token on ETH which you can bridge to your favorite chain soon with synapse.

This is your final reminder to withdraw LPs and cancel any limit buys fron any platform. In 15 mins the velodrome emissions end and over the next day, we expect all LPs to withdraw their positions. Note this should cause some extreme price volatility as there is already less than 300k total liquidity. And another reminder that the snapshot isn't until another few days (Friday give or take 1 day)

Heres an update to the multichain situation. So far not much has changed except for more chains like Optimism, Arbitrum, and BSC also being drained. We've posted a small breakdown on when you can expect the snapshot, how the new token is distributed, and updating providers with the new token. Please move them to your wallet in order to ensure you get your balance airdropped to you correctly. - If you’re an Arbitrum holder you do not need to do anything before or after the snapshot - Buying after the snapshot should be done at your own risk, as any balance after the snapshot will not be honored - The time of the snapshot is still not determined but will be announced when potential damage and loss are minimalized to passive unaware holders. - There will be a new UNIDX token on all chains except Arbitrum. - All holders will receive funds on ETH as this will be the native chain for token deployment. - If you are attempting to farm, do understand you will experience a great loss of your LP position as once the snapshot is taken, the typical market reaction is to sell into remaining LPs completely.

Multichain has some suspicious activity. Some evidence points to a migration of addresses while other evidence points to a hack. If you're an LP on VelodromeV2 its best you remove LP until they make an announcement. The bridge into Arbitrum is already frozen to prevent any malicious activity. By breaking LP you can protect yourself against any negative outcome if we need to snapshot and redeploy on optimism. Damage is already minimalized and arbitrum tokens are unaffected because they arent multichain tokens. TLDR: optimism users farming on velov2 should remove LP and in the worst case this isnt planned by them there would be very minimal damage as we could just snapshot.

General News - While volume decreased, our percentage share of total volume increased which means we fell less in volume than other players. - Usage grew around 50% across all chains combined - UNIDX fee discounts and increased surplus share with the rollout of swapsV3 - UNIDX liquidity will be migrated and consolidated. Most of the liquidity would sit on optimism and other L2s due to people buying and selling with extreme inefficiency (Upwards of 20% price gaps between networks)/ ETH wont have the most liquidity anymore so transact with care. Some concentrated liquidity on the Thena solidly concentrated pools and Joev2 pools for BSC. - Rebrand will only consist of new products. The UNIDX token remains and wont be changed and the UniDex terminal keeps it name. The UNIDX token is finally bridgable to Arbitrum through our friends at SynapseProtocol! Currently, holders can bridge between ETH <-> ARBI with much lower bridge fees compared to multichains fee system & more networks to follow soon. We plan to phase our the multichain token deployment overtime to keep things synapse xAsset only. Liquidity has been seeded on uniswapV3 in a decently sized ranged from the current univ3 mainnet price -> +25%, +50%, and +100% We'll also be deploying a automated liquidity management vault through arrakis so people can utilize uniV3 to its best potential. On Optimism, some users have got around 60% apr through these vaults but Arbitrum is a cheaper in gas so we can rebalance more frequently. Theres a few other things we're doing with the token on arbitrum but thats all we're sharing for now!

We've unveiled our short term roadmap plans on the topic of aggregation and how we position ourselves in the market. Effectively, these updates allow UniDex to become the most liquid spot trading dex, perp trading platform, and convenient place to trade in DeFi. They say Nasdaq was built to be the exchange for the next 100 years. We believe UniDex is positioned similarly and will be the leading DEX for the next 100 years as well. We will become the front page of the perp dex trading landscape. Swap aggregator Moving forward we will be deprecating the aggregation terminal in favor of 2 specific terminals and platforms. A new frontend for swaps focused on speed, simplicity, and flexibility. Chains can be switched and quote a trade in milliseconds to tell how quick and speedy the new platform. Leverage trading The leverage trading aggregator will be merged with the leverage trading frontend (at leverage.unidex.finance) making it the new hub for all things leverage trading. Basically, once our open interest caps out, instead of traders just sitting and waiting or opening a new tab, your order is routed to multiple other protocols to get the rest of the fill. We're porting the existing integration we've already done for GMX, Perpetual protocol, and CapV3. Then, support would then be extended to support trading from GNS, Pika, Metavault, Kwenta, and other GMX forks. Fees are collected as normal since we pass referral addresses as we create these orders. No extra fee is collected for doing this.
